Rachel Brooks

Rachel has been at the forefront of the business’s transformation since 2018. Through a combination of strategic leadership, innovation and a relentless focus on franchisee success, she has led Swimtime through significant change, including a major digital transformation, the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic and a sustained period of network growth.

With over 35 years’ business experience and more than 20 years in franchising, Rachel is passionate about helping people realise their ambitions through business ownership. Her leadership philosophy centres on creating profitable, sustainable franchise businesses by combining data driven decision making with genuine care for franchisees and their long term success.

Rachel serves on the Boards of both the British Franchise Association (BFA) and the European Franchise Federation (EFF), where she champions ethical franchising, high standards and the positive impact franchising has on individuals, communities and the wider economy.

At Ideas Fest, Rachel joins a panel of industry experts to share her experiences of leading through change, building resilient franchise networks and creating growth by putting people first. She is a strong advocate for using technology to enhance, not replace, human relationships, believing that the greatest business success comes from empowering people, embracing innovation and fostering a culture where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.
