Gill Dawson, a Keele University graduate with a degree in Economics and Business, began her professional journey in 2002 through a graduate training scheme at Enterprise Rent-A-Car. Following this, she gained valuable experience at Yellow Pages before stepping into entrepreneurship as a joint Director of a Bus and Coach Company. Her career evolved further when she became the Director of an Industrial Vending Machine Distributor.
In 2017, while expecting her youngest child, Gill sought a career shift that would allow her to work closer to home. After meticulous research, she and her husband Rob discovered the opportunity to join Molly Maid as franchise owners. The franchise, initially ranked at the bottom of the league tables, has experienced a remarkable transformation under their leadership. By prioritising customer satisfaction and employee engagement, Gill and Rob propelled their franchise to the second position nationwide and are now striving to claim the top spot.
Gill’s entrepreneurial spirit, hands-on approach, and dedication to her community have been key to her success. She continues to champion the values of hard work, innovation, and a customer-first philosophy, making her a respected figure within Molly Maid and beyond. Her journey reflects her adaptability, resilience, and passion for building thriving businesses, all while managing the responsibilities of family life.
