Amrit Dhaliwal

Amrit Dhaliwal is the visionary CEO and Founder of Walfinch, known as ‘The Walking CEO’ and host of the Walking with Walfinch podcast. In 2012, he became a home care franchisee with no prior experience in the industry. Within four years he grew that business from a standing start to a £1,000,000+ turnover, built a core team of 70, and won Franchisee of the Year. Amrit simultaneously fell in love with home care franchising and recognised how outdated the model was. So, he decided to spearhead that change by creating Walfinch.

Walfinch encapsulates Amrit’s mission to redefine home care. Amrit has overseen the national introduction of free fitness classes (Thrive Clubs) and published his acclaimed first book titled ‘Time to Thrive: The Home Care Revolution’. He has been shortlisted for Businessperson of the Year in 2025 and was ranked 2nd in the 2024 Social Care Top 30. As a Business Ambassador for the Royal Osteoporosis Society, Amrit is passionate about spreading awareness around the health benefits of active lifestyles for older and vulnerable people. Amrit has also guested on countless podcasts and made multiple appearances on GBN to speak on the changes that need to occur in social care, and Walfinch’s part in spearheading ‘The Home Care Revolution’.

Amrit is passionate about opening up the care industry to the safe and effective investments of entrepreneurs, regularly hosting The Founder’s Table, an exclusive in-person event that introduces home care franchising to ambitious owners. Additionally, Amrit often hosts webinars, publishes articles, and provides experience-driven thought leadership on the positive impacts of choosing to scale a meaningful business. Through this, Amrit is pulling the spotlight onto home care franchising, forging defined pathways for driven leaders, leading to the creation of care businesses that support clients not only to survive, but to Thrive.
